I've searched several sites including this message board and gotten lots of different opinions on this, but basically - I need a new muffler. I currently have a single-in dual-out setup and I assume the exhaust is stock (I'm the 3rd owner of the car). I've looked at Flowmaster 80 series and Cherry Bomb mufflers. I'm not sure of the dimensions of the exhaust or the muffler so I can get a better idea of what I need. Any opinions/help is appreciated.

I had the dynomax cat back on the bird, and it sounded decent. I've also heard a raven exhaust on a 3.4 4th gen, sounded (to me) awesome, but I don't think they make those anymore. I have heard good things on the Hooker Aero Chamber

        Re: Muffler

flomasters or magnaflow are widely used on this forum and are great starting points that offer good sound, performance, and price...so i'd look there first. I drive a bolt-on 3.8 including a high-flow cat and flowmasters and i love the sound and get lots of compliments when im driving, so i'd recommend starting there...and yes, Tom Rs has quite the deal set up that i would suggest taking advantage of (i'm lookin out for u Tom haha) with a flowmaster, high-flow cat, and all the extras you need.

personally i love my setup and the only brand i may consider in the future is borla when i go full 3" back from the headers, but it'll come with a hefty price tag so i have no problem with flo's until then. get some nice tips and start getting intake work done and you'll be on your way my man.
