    just saw this up at Road America this past weekend for the SCCA nationals, competed in the SSC class, pretty fun to watch on the track!

    looks like a bone stock v6

    Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

        They must have been doing some sort of exhibition thing. First, that car wouldn't be in SSC; the fouth gen Camaro with the 3.8 is in SSB, and the new six has about 100 hp on it. If anything, it would be a T2/T3 car. Also, that car is on street tires; unless they changed tires before they went out (entirely possible) it wouldn't be racing w2w. And I can't tell from the pics - did it have a full cage and racing seat/harness?

        Slight highjack - anyone who lives close enough should try to get to VIR the weekend of Oct 2-4; there will be a new Camaro running in the Koni Challenge GS class that weekend. It is going to be painted like the old (for those of you old enough to remember) Sunoco Trans-Am car they ran in '69. Here is a link to the article from the G-A website.
