Looks like the wimpy 315 hp V8 gets sand kicked in its face by its little sister. LOL
I like this part though:
"Anyone who's been in the convertible knew cowl shake was a problem, and as such Ford's stiffened things quite a bit, the 2011 is over 1000% stiffer than the 2010. That's not a typo. The improvements come in underbody and cowl cross-bracing and structural foam injected into the door pillars. 1000%, pretty impressive."

That shows how crappy the 2005-2010 verts were;)
1000% is quite the difference. If I had read the article I would have known this LOL
ford has been impressing lately not nearly as pathetic as the past.
1000 percent make me wonder if the whole car isnt built like that, leading to how long is it going to last?
i want to see some 0-60 times
guess what i cant find dyno graphs for the 3.7 any where as soon as there was talk of the new camaro v6 there where graphs available these things get leaked or planted id like to see a real world dyno graph before i buy into it fully ford always over rates its engines and drivers!
looks like its the muscle car wars all over again, but with who can squeeze the most out of a v6...and the consumer wins!!!
Team NoVa
2000 Firebird- Intake, Pacesetters, !cat, full 2.5 to flowcrapster, 1.9 rockers, LS6 springs and Intense modded retainers, WS6 speedlines, T/A bumpers and hatch, 5 spd swapped, SOON TO BE nitrous'd and cammed.
ford always over rates their numbers? in the mustangs, they were underrated usually i thought. the terminators for example were rated at 390 when it was really like 425-450 i think.
i told my buddy who just bought a brand new 2010 4.0 v6 stang about this and he was pissed lol. guess he should've waited another year for almost 100 extra ponies and a stronger engine.
i'm with letzride on this one---should be curious to see how the gt responds to the hp duel on hand. can't let the little brother start beating up on the v8's haha.
and on a side thought---i have no proof to support, but it does make you wonder about ford's power ratings on some models being embellished some. think about it: my little 3.8 with bolt ons can walk on a 4.6 liter gt with 260 horses, and nearly keep pace with a new gt with 300 horses  and let's not forget the highly praised gt500 with 540 horses and forced induction just gets mopped up by a base c6 n/a corvette with 100+ fewer horses and a slightly larger v8.
just makes me wonder sometimes. but for now, it's about time the 6banger got a makeover.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
