Oil Filter Comparison and Synthetic Oil Information

Synthetic oil is a pretty hot topic to discuss and everyone has opinions on what is the best for their car. Some want the cheapest stuff that is on sale at the store, others want the most protection they can get with a quality product. Through my own research and needs I personally settled on Amsoil (which is why I also became a dealer). You may not land at the same conclusion that I did and that is fine. What I wanted to do though is provide information for everyone to make their own decisions.

• 2010-2013 V6 Camaro - 5w30 Capacity is 6 quarts with a filter - Oil Drain Plug torque 18 ft/lbs
• 2014-2015 V6 Camaro - 5W30 or 0w30 (if operating under 20*F) Capacity is 6 quarts with a filter - Oil drain plug torque is 18ft/lbs
• 2016-2020 V6 Camaro - 5W30 or 0w30 (if operating under 20*F) Without oil cooler - 5.5 quarts with filter. With Oil Cooler 6 quarts with filter. - Oil drain plug torque is 18ft/lbs
• 2016-2020 2.0 Turbo Camaro 5W30 or 0w30 (if operating under 20*F) Without oil cooler - 5.0 quarts with filter. With Oil Cooler 5.5 quarts with filter. - Oil drain plug torque is 18ft/lbs
