  • Cat Delete 2014 LT

Hi guys I’m currently wanting to delete the cats on my 2014 LT but I have yet to find anything helpful. I was hoping to do it myself but I can’t seem to find test pipes or anything online available to replace them. If anyone knows of anything I would appreciate it. Also, I currently have a borla s-type x-pipe cat back system installed (2.25in) so I’d rather not have to buy a whole new exhaust system

Have a exhaust shop make a 2.25” test pipe, are you using Hptuners to delete the codes? Do you have Emissions where you live?

No tunes for codes, it’s not something I’m too worried about I’ll probably get in the future but not a big deal right now. And no emissions where I live so I have no issues to worry about with that. Thanks I’ll look into a custom shop, there just aren’t any near where I live so I’d have to have it shipped or drive 3 hours to go to a shop

If you have no emissions then any exhaust shop should be able to do the cat delete, I drive about 2 hours one way to get my work done on mine. Well worth it, got to pay to play. You should invest in Hptuners and a wideband O2 well worth the money to tune it yourself and not to hard to learn.

Okay thanks I appreciate it. I’m still fairly new to car mods and stuff so I’m trying to figure this stuff out!

No problem, it takes time and patience, I’m the original owner of my 1996 Camaro, been working on it for almost 27 years. You’ll get there.
