i wish they would too, but fat chance that'll ever happen... why?... i dunno. ya gotta ask bob lutz. he's said time and again that the T/A's and birds r done for good. rumors say that pontiac is trying to become more of a BMW sort of vehicle line. more european styling and performance.

hey well when the very first camaro came out in like 67/68 i cant remember. The bird didnt come out till like 4/5 years later right?
Or am i thinking of soemthing else

They're going to announce the next version of the GTO

hopefully they're not about to announce the remodeling of the Holden Monaro at the same time

i wonder what the cars will look like. everyone acts like the concept is gospel truth about how the car will look... consider:

we can only hope and pray that our good buddy Bob Lutz doesnt f*** the camaro up like he did w/ the GTO and hopefully someone gives him a good kick in the a$$ to build the damn firebird too. whats the difference? body panels and interior trim. it'd be a cost effective way to make ALOTTA people very happy.

Yeah, you are thinking of the Trans Am. Came out in 69. That's why there was a TA Collectors Edition in 2002, not the 35th Anniversary Trans Am, it would have been the 33rd Anny.
