Just read an article saying B-Pillars are likely going to be used in the production model, thus, strectching one rumor to another TTops are possible.

Honestly, I WILL NOT buy a brand new 5th gen unless it has TTops. I am split between buying a 5th gen V8 and 4th Gen LS1 within the next few years. If TTops are available, a new 5th gen will be very hard to resist...manual, ttops, LSX, all with new car smell...

I REALLY Hope this is not just a rumor, I'll find that article

id drive a hardtop version of the new camaro if it doesnt release with t-tops as an option, i loved the look of the hardtop at the auto show. plus i don't know how t-tops would flow with the lines of the car... imagine putting t-tops on a 1st gen

I think a targa top would look at lot better than t-tops on a 5th gen, but I don't see it happening. If it does happen I wouldn't expect it in the first production year either.

they wont go targa, for the simple fact that the car is supposed to hold to "tradition". I wont buy one unless it has TTops or is a vert. Personally, I am stuck between deciding if I want this or if I would rather have an 02 SOM TA when I graduate. Reguardless, I have to get my g/f off the path of wanting to buy a mazda3. God I hate working on those things

t-tops arent going to happen, it has been said before and this confirms it. to say you wont buy a car just because it doesnt have t-tops is a bad idea.

+ with the added b-pillers, lighter weight and better handeling

If this was the only time this has happened you can call it experimental but to warn you, its not as socially acceptable for a guy to experiment being gay as it is for a girl to experiment being a lesbian.
