Personally I would sacrifice those big tires and wheels if I can go faster with out them. But I want to see the final picture of the camaro since GM keeps pushing back the date of the realese

Honestly id be scared to put anything lower in size on it, might go too low and scrape

that will be interesting to see what is the smallest size of wheels it can fit before it scrapes.

I dunno, i'm still partial to the 4 cyl., it would be the same output as the V6, with less cylinders...i mean, afterall that was the OP's original point in the first place wasn't it...the 2 motors making the same power?

and wheel size doesnt really have anything to do with body scraping, that's all about tire size...:)

            oh yea...

V6 vs. 4 cyl. weight distribution
why have V6 weight in the front when you can have even LESS weight with the same power?? HMMM??

can we say PERFECT or BETTER than 50/50 weight distribution...that would just be koool

You make a good argument but come on why out a 4-cylinder in a camaro. Might as well just put honda badging on it we all know that the camaro has meant muscle but now they are considering to put a 4-cylinder turbo charged engine. I think I hear a ricer car coming along.

Yeah I was about to say even if Lutz had made it official to make the new camaro a 4banger doesnt mean you own a 4banger lol

haha exactly Will. IF they did offer the 4 banger, that would just make our cars worth all the much more...the last of the 6 cyl. Camaros lol...not too exciting, but its somethin.. and there's still alot that isnt "official" yet...i'm interested to see just what changes between even now and the release

I'm sorry dude, I just don't see the camaro coming with a 4banger engine. What next?? Bring the corvette to a 6? The name camaro to me means muscle and I can see where a 4 cylinder can pour out some with the right mods but I just dont see GM taking that chance with putting one in. As far as 50/50 Weight and as you say "Perfect" I can see that like I said but I still say it's a no go on the 4.

IF they do offer a 4, I think it should be a special order package or something.

the original vettes did have six's. Don't like a 4banger comero, don't get one. Also, the turbo engines can be jsut as expensive as the big bro 8cyl.

Little off topic here... but did anyone else here read that article in Motor Trend (the one with the Challenger on the front) that Ford is planning on getting rid of the V8 all together. They are talking about replacing it with a twin turbo V6, talking about 405 horses. Even in the trucks...
