i dunno.
it seems like every number for the new camaro is disappointing.
the ls3's hp doesnt seem like a huge leap over the ls1 or 2, yet its displacements been bumped up more.
the fuel economy is the same.
the weight is huge compared to a 4th gen, and 05 mustang. though its roughly in line with other comparable models.
the 3.6l's 300hp is nice, but the torque was a little disappointing at 276 ftlbs.
the 1/4mi times were slower than the challenger. a stock 02 ran about the same.
i was also hoping for a smaller car, along the lines of the 4th gen stang.
i think im not as much of a camaro fan as i think. more of a 3rd/4th gen fan.
the 1st, 2nd, and 5th gen are like sporty large cars.
the 3rd and 4th are like large sports cars.
either way the price of the c5 z06 is dropping like a rock and i think thats where my 5th gen down payment is going to end up going.
im still holding out final judgement till i drive one.
