No, it doesn't mean anything. No real estimation can be made, considering you're dealing with two variables (base cost, cost of options).

yep...even the V8 auto is quicker than the V8 manual...0.3 seconds quicker. Still, I think I'll get the manual tranny.

i've seen a few dyno numbers on stock LS3's, and it seems like the stock numbers are a tad underrated...maybe the ones in the new camaro's will be the same.

anyone know about the exhaust on the new camaros? y pipe, or duals?

im disappointed in the v8, but the v6 sounds great.
for a 4th gen SS was the **** but 5th gen SS is not exciting.
i was hoping that GM had some amazing new idea that was gonna improve performance or fuel economy or something.

Exactly how I feel.

Personally my favorite pony car is finally back on the scene and I might have to go hit up my local dodge dealership to check it out dispite its not a cuda its damn close! and I might have one next my 96 RS soon. :)

Without a doubt I will give it a test drive but I don't plan on signing anything till it meets my needs. Otherwise I was really hoping for a new T/A or firebird.

I'm on the fence with the new one. I'll have to wait to see one live and in color.

Believe it or not I did get to see one live and in color (Hugger Orange). Honestly, I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. As much as I hate to say this, it rang of a last ditch effort by a company that may be desperate to survive. All said, it wasn't like the excitement of seeing the new 'Stang. At this point, to my own surprise, I'm not sure what's missing, but something, to me, is. Maybe it was the mystique or pure muscle stance it seemed to have back in the day. Still loyal to the "F" and have faith that it can be more, just not at the time of introduction. God willing, there's a bounce-back for GM (and other US manufacturers as well) and R&D can REALLY get creative.

GM sae certifies all their new engines. so the advertised power is the actual power, no more under rating.

HOWEVER...

that doesnt mean theyre not seriously detuned.
