So the mustang forums have a lot of chatting on the 5th gen

I joined a mustang forum last night for 2 reasons. 1) I wanted to see what they chat about with the new camaro coming in and 2) For s**ts and giggles. Now when I joined The first repsonse I got was a "ERGH" from someone. But then I started checking threads and see the new camaro has been talked about for a while. Most say "Mustangs will PWN it" and "It'll die out again" But one cought my eye so far and it says "I guess Ford now has its work cut out for the 2010 Mustang
I like the Camaro exterior...I''m just not feeling the weird radio setup and the SN95-Mustang-like dash....and that radio makes a Nav system or aftermarket HU impossible by the looks of it....
Ford now needs to realize our cars need more power....so we can finally go head to head with the camaro "

Not a lot of hate as I read down but I definitely sense something other then a rivalry.

And from what I hear, GM and Ford may start working on powertrains together, so, shared drivetrains, just different shells.

that'd be a plus for ford I know, the mustang guys talk like their drivetrains suck

No sir not at all. They're worried, and I don't blame them. It's like I said up there "If ford doesn't do anything with the 2010 Mustang (as projected) it will fall behind."
