That is interesting. What exactly is the difference between the 1SS and the 2SS? Does the 2SS just have a different intake and/or exhaust which gives it and extra 16hp and 10 ft.lbs/tq?

i was thinking the 1SS is the standard 6.2l and the 2SS is the ls3

Great link Meatyshells. Thats strange that you can't select leather or some colors for the 1SS.

lol the 1ss is like a base ss.... hence it doesnt get the leather and some of the fancier options... same for the 1LT and 2LT.... 1 is base and 2 gets all the fancy stuff... cars.com is wrong on the color issue as well... you will be able to have whatever color you want on whichever model you choose...

the engine differences is just whether you get the 6 speed auto or the manual tranny... the automatic gets the L99 with cylinder deactivation and the LS3 goes with the manual without cylinder deactivation... something about the complexity of cylinder deactivation not working with the manual tranny....

check out camaro5.com for any correct information concerning the new camaro...
