I think I saw my first V6 5th Gen in town yesterday. My heart skips a beat each time I see it up close. It pulled up behind me, so I switched lanes and I let him get by and then I pulled up behind it at the next traffic light. I have to say I love it a little more every time I see it. The car looks absolutely amazing. Up close, from behind it looks a little exotic, rather than American. It pulled away from the light and for a V6, I thought it sounded great!
Anyone got any stories about their jaw dropping, heart thobbing, and drooling first moments after spotting one on the road?
yea I saw an RS while I was out tuning the other week...silver one on Queensway...pulled out right beside me, I almost shat myself lol.
I would of been beside him at the light but someone schooched over quickly...so I pulled behind him. Thing took off from the light to about 85-90...I stayed hot on his tail until about 70, then just cruised from there (speed limit 60) and there are wayyy too many cops on queensway...
I've now seen 4...a yellow one downtown this past winter, an SS in midtown, an RS on the 401 and now an LS or LT in midtown.
I also saw a really nice 93-97 white Camaro with aftermarket hood on Avenue Rd. last night near the 401 getting loaded onto a flatbed...didn't look like there was any damage.
What colour is your Camaro man? I spend a lot of time visiting family out near Etobicoke so I'll keep any eye out for ya.
They had one at the dealership here, but it was picked up by the buyer within four hours of arriving. Of course it was an Inferno Orange 2SS/RS that the local enthusiast got. Should be another one coming in later this week. Still look forward to seeing one in person.

Got a pretty good pic with the cell phone through my car.
hahaha, oh man. i remember when i thought the new camaro was rare. now i see at least 10 every day. There are 3 people in my neighborhood who drive them. A V6 base, a V6 RS, and one guy with a SS RS. The SS guy just did some exhaust work. it sounds sicknasty.
