No flippin insurance for the kid either...Im not sure if that kid would ever be able to drive again when I was finished with him....damn.

Good thing is though, is that most insurance companies have a policy that for the first few months or something that you own a new car, it doesnt depreciate, so you get exactly what you paid for it...bad part is, he is probably going to have to wait a long time to get that same exact car again...

This happened to my sister... two months after she got her Cobalt SS her husband was driving it and a drunk uninsured a-hole pulled out of an alley without stopping and he t-boned him... totalled her brand new Cobalt... the real sh*tty part was my sister only had liability insurance at the time and the reparations she got from the drunk in court only covered her husband's hospital bill (three surgeries from the accident)... I was in Florida when it happened, and when I came back my mom and sister refused to give me any info on the drunk bc they were afraid I might do something, which I probably would have...
