I love my job! i transport cars all over the country and last week i got to haul 8 new camaros to a dealership in socal. it was awesome, got to say though, not impressed at all by the lt, and the ss needs to go on a diet. Id rather have a 4th gen SS or Ws6. but the new ones are a butt ton of fun!

Re: I hate to rub it in
I was sad yesterday though, I had to deliver a wrecked jeep to the Kansas City dealer aution and there was a wrecked Black SS sitting there. I shed a tear for it. I asked and none of the dealers bid on it so it will be crushed. it wasnt that bad, slid into a curb at 50 or so and broke the rear end completely out from under it. I asked if I could uy it but im not a legal dealer so shes going off the to that big lot in the sky...

Re: I hate to rub it in
there's probably a good reason why none of the dealers bought it...i don't know if it would be worth the headache of repairing it, and the potentially never having the car track right again due to frame damage.
let's see some pictures next time!

Re: I hate to rub it in
ya, but you could pull the engine from it I bet... I would try and talk to a dealer asap...see if they'll bid on it for dirt cheap for you...then just take the engine and trans out, and build your own little monster...

Re: I hate to rub it in
I agree, i will just keep mine. I will take a picture next time. I didn't have a camera on me, but i will remember to take one next time. But honestly for the money of buying the car, paying the dealer his fees for helping me out, and getting my dispatcher to take up a spot on the truck to take it home, I could almost buy an LS7 Crate motor out of the ZO6. Or a GTO LS3 6 speed combo. The starting bid on the car was a little under 5k. And still nobody bought it. In about five or six years the new ones will be more affordable and there will be more oppurtunities with more aftermarket available.

Just alot you can do with the F-bodies like V6 turbo and get 400+ HP and also use the newer L26 block and heads or LS1 build up 400+ N/A with weights of 3000 LBS if weight taken off instead of the 3700-3800 LB new Camaros. Imagine a V6 turbo Camaro beating a newer SS Camaro thats just damm cool in my book.LOL
