  • HELP bosch ev6 injectors too short

    Hi has anyone ever put bosch ev6 injectors in a 2000 camaro 3.8? i got these injectors from a 2004 grand prix super charged and when there in the fuel rail and i push them in the rail bottoms out befor the injectos get all the way in. anyone have any idea what do or have done this before? i already changed all the clips to the ev6 connectors so id love to have these work. thanks in advance!!!

    have to cut the rail off and make a new mount

    Abbott long tubes,homemade true duals,slp ram air,whisper lid,eibach springs,kyb shocks,BMR subframe connectors, BMR LCA reloc brackets,BMR LCAs. T-top/manual converted

      yup, dont the supercharged engines have the fuel injectors going into the head?

        The 2000+ stock v6 fbody injectors are longer than the ev1/ev6's. You
        can cut your stock rail down (I think it's ~7mm but you should measure first),
        or find a fuel rail from an earlier v6 fbody that had ev1 injectors.

          cool thanks everyone i just measured and cut. im gonna try and find someone open tomorrow to weld them back one nice. thanks again!

            just wanted to say thanks again to everyone. i got the rail welded today and just finished puttin everything back together and it all works great! Thanks!:D
