I need some help picking the specs for my valves from Manley.

So far I have decided that I am going to go with the Gen II Race series valves.

Manley said to go with either the 11203-8, 11217-8 (exh valves) or 11218-8, 11216-8 (intake valves) Anways, they look to be the exact same, except for the max head diameter size.

I want to go with a 1.57 exhaust valve, and a 1.84 intake valve I think.

What is the diameter, length, angle/radius, Margin, Width, and Head, I should be selcting for these valves? I am confused with what I should be getting here.

http://www.manleyperformance.com/dl/2009/valves.pdf that is the catalogue, and my valves are on page 39.

keep in mind this is going to be used for the ITb build, along with the ARH cam I have in the car now...should be getting quite a bit of air flowing through these heads...I may also be upgrading to a 1.7 roller rocker.

    Re: Custom Valves

I was looking at custom valves at from Manely the shop said bring my stock ones down and they could set me up with the best valves for exhaust and the best valves for intake, which they will be both different , since I'm running a turbo. Also could go up in size and have another 3-5 angle valve job, bronze valve guides and the heads are already ported/polished.

        Re: Custom Valves

Mine ranges from $30-40 a valve but this is for a turbo app. though so they are built stronger. I will probaly wind up with a $500 bill for the valves and valve job. But I will have a good piece of mind knowing I'm not going to snap a valve under high heat or pressure.
