yea they are great for replacements or a build. Just stay away from the OE-Rs. I have the OE-Rs and they are way to noisy. If I were doing it over again, I would go with OEs.
yea i researched the OE-R's and found they were not good. but since I will be doing a cam swap and my motor having 165k miles I am going to upgrade springs, retainers, valve locks, pushrods, and lifters. Anything else I might want to look into?
I have OER's right now and they are nosiy, will be putting in Comp OE's here soon I hope, but the OER's have lasted 45,000 miles so their not bad as in performance just add more noise to the engine.

I decided I am going with the GT2. And I am going to be running whatever is in the car other than what I have mentioned above that will be added. So with that said should I just go with stock or what?
Mine is getting a JP doble roller, and machined oil pump cover/W oil PSI kit and modding the timing cover.

Double roller is thicker than stock, so you can try and run 2 timing cover gaskets and machined oil pump cover or try and mill down the timing cover, you need a machined oil pump cover and while were in there I'm adding a oil PSI kit to bump the pressure up 20+ PSI. I'll find out what were going to do tomorrow.

I have a brand new Rollingmaster single chain with a new dampner if your interested? I got them from ZZP before I decided to go with 130LB springs and JP double roller. PM me if interested.
