01 injectors and rails on a 97?

I have a 97 stocker and a 01 modded i want to use the 97s fuel rails on my 01 with gtp injectors but i want the then put the 01 injectors and rails on my 97 will this work?

You'll have to swap the injector connectors. I think the
stock flowrate is the same for both.

I think it will work. I could be wrong but I think the 97 rail is short like the gtp injectors and then the 01 injectors are tall along with the rail, so i think it should work out perfectly.
Yea caspernicus is right about the clips, but its no big deal i did it on my 00 when i out gtp's in as well. they also make adapter clips too so you don't have to cut the old ones off and solder the new ones on. i soldered mine in it wasn't that hard to get to them. good luck with it!

Humm. so the GTPs arent direct plug in on the 01 harness? are the direct plug in on a 97? i dont mean plug and play just the connectors

I'm not sure what clips the 97 has but the 01 has delphi mini connectors i think and the gtp's are ev6 connectors. you would just need something like this or adapters

The gtp injectors are a direct swap for 99 and under. V6's cars came
with a different style injector starting in 2000.

is the entire injector harness removable?

I've never looked that hard, but I doubt it. It's part of
the main harness.

no it is part of the harness. You would have to cut the connectors off and splice them into each harness.

The gtp injectors will work with the 97 rail and 97 harness. Not the 01 rail and harness unless you swap connectors. So no not a direct swap between the two

well what injectores will plug into the 01 harness and work on the 01 rails? That i can run a gt2 cam, gears, and 75-100shots of nitrous "after tuning"
