    Does anyone know a good website where I can buy a new or used 2000 Chevy Camaro V6 engine?

    most of the stuff will probably be used and comes from local junkyards

      Yea, I really like that site. Getting a "hold me over till I finish my orig 3.4" .. 3.4 lol.

      Very extensive option list and can really narrow down search times.

        Check out some of the 3.8s that LKQ has through their search or on ebay. They usually have lower mileage options at good prices.

          I would just rebuild the one you have if possible, upgrade it with some power adders and you'll probably be happier. But if nothing else, local junk yards is the first place to look.

            are all the 3800 seriesII blocks the same? i wanna buy a block then build it and when im done swap it into my 97 camaro

              You can also use a series III like a 08" NA L26 engine , you just need to swap over your oil pan, upper/lower intakes, Tb and oil filter housing. But the L26 has forged L32 rods and the heads have bigger exhaust ports, also the heads are better than pre 98' heads which are prone to cracking and valve guides braking.

                  They are the same just stronger/better parts.

                        just go look around. i just bought a short block series 2 from a warehouse in st.louis for $100

                        i took it all apart and had to clean but still was a hell of a deal
