Interchangeable Accessories???

I'm doing a 3.8 V6 to LQ4 swap, and I dont want to buy entirely new accessories as its going to rake nearly $1,800 in costs. I want to know if the A/C Compressor and Power Steering pump off my V6 will bolt to the LQ4 / LSX style motor?...

Don't thinnk so , Wouldn't the LQ4 have its own access. like doing a LS1 swap with the whole block and tranny. Only reason the power steering off the LS1's can be used on 3.9's is becuse they have the same front suspension, but the A/C's are differnet , alt. etc.

well, the LQ4 have their own accessories but the Alternator sits too high to close the hood and the power steering pump wont link. I also think there are issues with the W/P and A/C too... It would be cool if I could trade them for a LS1 set.

You said the P/S pump can be re-used though?

Nope, you can't use any accy's off the truck engine. You need F-body accy's. Real men don't care about A/C and PS.

Yeah, that I knew - I meant if the 3.8 accy's could be used like the P/S pump and trust me, live in Atlanta and you WOULD need the A/C. It gets hot and very humid and you're stuck in traffic 90% of the time.
