I know these are stronger....powdered metal, but are they any heavier? If so, by how many grams/ea.??
Where is the best place to buy them and about how many $/set?

    Re: Series III Rods

Never weighed them when mine were installed, with Diamond pistons. I got mine when my Dad worked at GM for 20%+ off , but I know ZZP sells them or try GM parts direct. Also you could probably look at short block from a 06-08 L26 Buick/Pontiac motor for pretty cheap. Then you would have a low mileage block with pistons, rods, and better heads.
    08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine

They are NOT stronger really. They are more CONSISTENT.

The odd series II would throw a rod, the newer engines don't :)
