For those that dont know ive been planning this build all winter. I have a 96 camaro A4 with 187,000 on the ticker. I had picked up a 97 with 120,xxx miles from a good friend that had a z28 rear with 3:23's and posi and brand new magnaflow catback. I pulled the motor trans and rear and am rebuilding it.
SO ive been collecting my parts slowly but surely. i put all new clevite bearings, clevite cam bearings , honed the cylinders, put new rings, AND just ordered my GT2 cam. Cam should be here tomorrow. Im leaving my heads stock for now to get this car rolling and taking my old heads and have them proted, polished and milled along with some new zzp springs.
POWER ADDER: Dynotune wet kit. starting with a 75hp shot and tuning my way up to a 125 shot(cant wait :D). possibly a 150 shot depending on how the tuning goes. Walboro fuel pump with GTP injectors. And FPSS.
GAUGES: N20 pressure gauge, Wideband, Fuel pressure gauge.
EXHAUST: Pacesetter headers, high flow cat with cutout in mid pipe. thinking of swapping the magnaflow for a borla.
DRIVETRAIN: A4 with shift kit, corvette servo, z28 rear with 3:23s. 3500 stall converter(maybe)
SOrry for the loooong post but i wanted some input on if theres anything im missing? i think the car is gunna be a little monster. only downfall i see will be the stock heads til i get the p&p heads on there. I also already own most of these parts. Thanks in advance guys!
