    your engine is definitely taking in alot more air from the new cam, and it probably is just that extra air being sucked through the baffles in your lid and then the air silencer. I would try to get one of the aftermarket airbox lids, and if you cant find one of them try removing the baffles in your current stock air lid, and connect the lid directly to your intake (junking the air silencer). also you might want to cut out the bottom of your air intake, which is probably a bit restrictive with a new cam in there. There are how-to's somewhere on this forum that show you how to do everything... Hope this helps!
