    Re: Blew the motor

I use RP and when the turbo goes on its a great piece of mind knowing that in extreme heat its not going to break down and cause the built motor and turbo to go out, thats over $6000 right there. But I hope to be running my dual oil filter setup also. I think its good to run , I can go more than 6000 miles N/A right now and the oil is still good. So its like 2 oil changes in 1 and not having to do the labor every 3000 miles. RP has been proven to work and I use it in all my fluids.

Rob Bell, I'll have to try it in the lawnmower good idea. ESP. in AZ I think it will do well since the heat outside and the mower its self.

I would use your sensors from your car, but you could look up the part #'s and cross ref. them to see if they would work but I think they will not since one is cable driven and one is electric. But thinking about it maybe the cam, crank and egt would be the same.

Mines not off centered did you tq the bolts down to 25ftlbs. I also installed a new front seal when I did mine on my spare front cover.

You can use the knock, cam and crank sensors. You also dont have to change the timing cover or balancer.

You will have to change the oil filter adapter on the side of the timing cover though, unless you dont have A/C. I tried to use the FWD one on mine, but it wouldnt clear the A/C.

We actually figured out he can use all the sensors. The MAP, MAF, IAT, ECT, etc. from the new engine are all identical from his stock engine.
