Looking to be possibly upgrading my cam, since it will most likely need replacing...I want to go with something more aggressive then the ARH cam...
How about the Thrasher Engineered Performance Race Cam?
TEP Race Cam Specs:
- Duration at .050 = 222 degree intake/222 degree exhaust
- Intake Lift = .354 (.566 lift with stock 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
- Exhaust Lift = .354 (.566 lift with stock 1.6:1 rocker ratio)
- Lobe Separation = 114.0
From what I can tell it seems to be a FI cam...BUT...I was thinking of changing it a little bit...they say that N/A cams should have identical or closely split lift and duration...which this cam has the same lift and same duration...but N/A cams should also have somewhere between 110-113 LSA
so what if I had a custom cam built with the above specs, with the only difference being 110 LSA?
any thoughts on what I might gain out of this?...I'd swap my 130# springs in, and put a double roller timing chain on...
