hi guys, looking for some advice
Currently I've got a 1997 Camaro vert 3.8 A4, I'd like to do a swap for a V8, I'm thinking LS1 or LS2 with T-56
I figure the best way is to buy a wrecked SS or Z28 and do a direct swap. I'll watch "copart.com" for good deals.
I'm wondering if there is a specific year I should look for (98,99,00,01,02) that would make an easier swap into my 97'. Could a totalled corvette work?
I know buying a different car is easier but I inherited my Camaro from my grandma through my granddad's passing. So it means a lot to me...
I do not have any plans on getting rid of the car, I'm hoping to keep it to give to my kids someday. I know it's a lot of work but I'm looking forward to that and I want the learning experience.
The car only has 58,000 miles on it, is winter stored and is originally a florida car so the body is in impeccable condition. It isn't my DD so I'm not worried that way.
(sorry if I posted this in the wrong section)
