I bought my 98 maro a year ago and promptly blew the engine a week later. turns out it was pre-blown and teh cleanliness and repair records fooled me. along with a quart or two of gear oil...
anyhow i decided rather than to learn from my mistakes and take the 3500 dollar loss i'd fix it. a year later, after rebuilding the chassis and most everything on it except the body i am ready to make her roll!
Bought myself a buick engine, converted it to rwd, got a transmission built to v8 specs and the part i wanted to brag about via post.
Somehow I managed to drop the block and tranny combined at the same time wo removing the subframe or driveshaft. just the hood. which everyone told me I couldn't do hahaha. finally something goes right! LOL
If there's anyone i can help with any of the above mentioned facts such as converting a buick engine over or how to do that swap wo dropping the subframe, let me know!
