Black gasket maker

When im putting the gasket maker on the valleys of the LIM how long should I let it sit before reassembly and how long will it have to sit before i can crank the car back up?

you should let it sit about 24 hours once you torque it down. As far as reassembly, I've always put it on, then placed the LIM down on top right after...torque to spec and I continue torquing down the top end of the motor

I also use red RTV or copper RTV...I havent used black...

i let mine sit for 24 hours before i started the engine
