Meth injection?

I know FI cars use it alot, but what about N/A guys? anyone have any experience with meth?

I know all you n/a guys have experienced the same thing as me in the summer time...you car feels like she's just lazy in the summer heat, she doesn't like the warm air at all. The car feels much more sluggish as opposed to winter/spring months when it's much cooler.

I know meth decreases you're intake air temps by alot...so much so that you could actually have ice form on the intake manifold in 90* weather no problem...

I've been looking into snowperformances N/A kit http://www.snowperformance.net/product.php?pk=31

and thinking of only spraying at WOT to cool my intake charge.

Another benefit is its supposed to keep your motor stupidly clean inside due to the steam cleaning effects.

what are your thoughts?

I have had 2 kits for FI both from Coolingmist and they were good kits. I never used them N/A but if it works for FI it should work for N/A cars.

Well they sell N/A kits...just trying to determine the performance worth for an N/A vehicle, and the potential for using maybe nitrometh in the future?

I always get Boost Juice which is 49% methanol and 51% water , which is the only way to buy it and have it shipped. But I have used straight alcohol with it mixed half & half with water.

Shouldn't you be able to run more timing and or compression with lower intake temps or is that already compensated for in the maf tables? That kit says it is not for cars with a maf sensor, why would that be?

You have to put it after the maf becuase the water will make the maf go crazy.

I'm not running a maf anyways, so it doesnt bother me lol.

and will do Tony, probably won't be till next summer though, just researching aloud at the moment.

So much bloody information to learn...Why is that some people run a MAF and some don't. Does the car not need one to meter the fuel correctly? Even with the L67 guys, some use it some don't.

was to see if it was possible so that I didnt have to go standalone when I eventually one day finish those ITB's I started working on, which I'm currently staring at infront of me at the moment with some new thoughts going through my head lol...I may of thought of a way to make my life sooooo much easier...shhh
