  • 2000 Firebird to 97 Camaro 3.8 engine swap

I have a 97 Camaro with a bad engine and have bought a 2000 Firebird (rolled) with a good engine. I see that the sensors on the air intake are different and the intakes are also different. What do I need to do to use this later engine in the Camaro? Do I just change the intakes? This is my first Camaro by the way. Both cars have an AT. Thanks, old British car guy in NC.

its pretty simple. once you get both engines out then you can see whats different. I think its just intake and exhaust, but don't quote me on that. I swapped in a series 3 out of a 08 lucern, that was a pain in the butt!
