I would think headers would flow alot better than stock, esp. the primaries compared to stock.
08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
Having a 2000 like me, he has the factory tubular style manifolds, which are essentially blockhugger sytle headers from the factory, now I don't imagine GM went all out on flowtesting and Pacesetters or something probably have larger primaries, I just don't see how they could be THAT big a difference

You need to think of it as in package. Headers would make your mods, especially SC, work even better.
It's like K&N filter vs. Paper Filter. There's really not much of a difference in HP gain, but synergistically in relation to your other mods it's crucial.

That depends on track condition too as well as weather and condition of his car. Times will always vary at the track. That's why you have to look at dyno #'s, but even that can fluctuate too.
