You 'd be fine stock but I would do it right the first time around so you don't have to do it over if something fails.

I ran stock push rods on 130# valve springs for 2 years with no issues. Just as an fyi.
what about lifters?
Im gonna buy the 105# springs. ITs gonna see mostly road and some drag racing.
I figure if I will be ok with stock pushrods and lifters I wont buy new ones
if you could find a used rear end with posi and 3.42s that would be solid. Im on a budget myself. I found a 3.42 posi rear end with only 16k miles for 150 bucks. Had to drive an hour, but well worth it.
