hahah No I bought another one

3 snapped connecting rods. Best part is there is no sign of them in crank case.

The one hanging on the hoist is the broken one. Im still waiting on the heads to come back form the machine shop. They said they would call me friday to let me know when they will be done. They were supposed to be ready monday...

Well I had to order a new oil pan since the sealing surfaces are bent on mine, so I figure between ahaving to wait on my heads still and the oil pan to get here. Im gonna order urethane motor mounts, tranny mount and torque arm bushing. I'll take the OEM motor mounts I bought back I reckon'.

                      Re: LastCallKillIt's Project: ANGRY BIRD

The ultimate question is: with a market value of under $3500, is it worth the investment? Especially when reg gas is $3.40 a gallon and the FB gets about 15 to 17 around town...AC off.

Haha mine did ~20-23 MPG in town. 3800 stall heads/came/intake and still a little rich on the tone to be safe. AC or heat on no worries.

the EPA number for the 3.8 is 16. to be getting the mileage U are talking about means about 360 miles per tank full. No one gets 8 mpg in city ABOVE EPA tests. My 2000
Camaro, by actual calculation last week was getting 15 and I turn off the engine at
long lights but us AC always.

EPA *estimate* meaning it can vary.... I get 20 in the city easily. I get 380 miles to a tank and that's giving it constantly and having a lead foot. Sorry but you're wrong.

OP: Swap looks awesome, don't think I've ever seen a hole in an engine block that big haha

Here is EPA of the new 3.6 liter Camaro automatic:
                                18 City
                                22
                                Combined
                                29Highway
In twelve years they have a increased the mileage by two and offering an engine
that is .2 liters smaller plus (I would hope) better technology, They do NOT get
these numbers with a heavy right foot either. Honda owners sued b/c there
new HOndas were NOT getting EPA numbers but numbers that were lower.
