So I know I've listed all my engine build stuff in the "For Sale" section, but assuming that stuff doesn't sell as a package, I'll probably end up keeping it and setting it aside for now. I've also run across a good running L26 out of an '06 Grand Prix that I can pick up for only $100. The catch is that the engine has 152,000 miles on it. Now, the engine build that I want to do involves boring and bearings, so the only thing I would still use out of the stock engine is the crankshaft and connecting rods, along with the machined block. The heads may be reused or they may be turned in as cores for ported heads. With that high of mileage, would it be ok to use the crankshaft, connecting rods, and block?
