  • Looky what I got...

I'm super pumped about these :excited:...Many of you may remember that I planned on doing ITB's on the lower Holden intake manifold, I got a design that I was happy with, but trying to figure out tuning without going to a standalone was going to be a PITA and so we've scrapped that for now.

Instead, we opted for a new design, still with a couple of Throttlebodies...this one utilizes a twin throttle that was used on LT1's...We can adjust it to adapt to any size throttlebodies to, which gives us tons of room to play.

So here is a few teaser pic's of the progress of the new proto-type manifold. It's still being flow tested electronically, and the appearance will change slightly as the front tb area needs to be smoothed out more.

It'll weigh approximately 4.5lbs the way it is right now, that number could change though...actually I expect it to change

I think it looks bad-***...hoping to have it built/installed this summer... so hopefully our busy schedules allow it.

One more... showing the taper for the airflow to hit the back cylinders with speed. The design is weighted heavily around the design of the trumpets that I can't speak about...but everythings looking good so far...

I know these are sort of popular on Miatas, but never seen it for Camaros. I want to see the final product!

Very similar to what I have planned with my Holden intake. Have you checked clearance for the Alternator or are you going to have it spaced outwards or relocated?

How about mounting it to the LIM? Bolts through the top or permanently mounted to the LIM?

I'm working more towards using a truck throttle body and doing something similar to the image below but with better clearance for the hood:

Haven't checked alternator clearance...I'm not too worried about it, if its in the way I'll move it, otherwise I'm thinking it will clear.

We'll be making this out of a solid block of aluminum and adding a removable lid at the end of it just like the original Holden intake has. That will allow an easy install. The trumpets inside have been reconfigured and redesigned :stp:

I am a little concerned about volume as it tapers down at the back and we loose a bit. we may end up increasing the runner length at the bottom of the unit if we have the room.
