  • Which or what cam would be best for a SC

I've been wondering if there is one. I don't really want to lose the daily drivablity of my car or set off any codes.

Lately I've been looking at Compcam's VS and GT cam. http://www.zzperformance.com/zzp/pro...cam.htm#VS_CAM

Think this would work. What do you guys think. Also in the future I do plan on changing the heads as well.

look at www.zzperformance.com and look at their GTP cams. the Gt cam from them won't work well w/ a sc cuz it's got too little lobe separation. also, check out www.intense-racing.com and look at their sc cam and their turbo cam. maybe those will help u out w/ power. a couple of those cam's need ported heads.

Luckily the VS cam is in fact a cam for the GTP...

Just make sure that whatever cam you get has high lift and a high LSA. You may also want a split duration cam.

Consider a slightly mild cam, with 113, or 114 LSA. I would chose 208/212 .50 lift 113LSA. That would be a nice custom grind for SC or NA.

I guess VS cam would make it the best choice?

I'm running a 210/214 .450/.450 113 l/s cam with the blower and stock heads. I loved the cam for N/A and it only got better with the blower.

I would suggest calling Comp and talk to them about your application so they can custom grind you a cam.
