The jet stage 2 definetly gave me some decent gains . It really gave me some more power off the line !! I say over all it is a good mod but the price is alittle high.
Now .....on to the cam , so would it be a good idea to tell tom at supersix to just drop the cam for a lower price and I could just go out and find a more powerful cam? Can any body give me a web sight on a good cam for a 3.4? thanks2002 Grand Prix GTP- FWI Intake , flowmaster 40\'s ,3.4 pulley , and Intense racing PCM.
94 3.4L camaro -Lots of mods!

Could you tell me a good cam or some specs or even a web sight that I could tell him when I purchase the power pack ?? thanks2002 Grand Prix GTP- FWI Intake , flowmaster 40\'s ,3.4 pulley , and Intense racing PCM.
94 3.4L camaro -Lots of mods!

Hey Josh (viper98885) I would love a cam like yours . Is it possible for Supersix to make me a cam like yours. What should I tell them ? Do I just give them the specs on it and they will make it custom or what? thanks2002 Grand Prix GTP- FWI Intake , flowmaster 40\'s ,3.4 pulley , and Intense racing PCM.
94 3.4L camaro -Lots of mods!

You'd probably want to talk to Tom at SuperSix about that. A cam should be selected to match the heads so since he knows what would work best he'd be able to give you the best suggestion.---
-\'95 3.4L M5 Camaro

If you feel like doing a lot of work you could go the route Russell went.
He swapped on 3400 Gen III aluminum heads and intake onto a 3.4L block.

I haven't done the 3400 upper/lower intake yet. the 3100 intake is still on there. the 3400 is awaiting some 'modifications' heheh.

If I remember correctly he saw decent gains with that without a cam.

Well -- I haven't dyno'd yet. I did take the car to a 1/4 mile track, of which i was quite disappointed with the numbers, but like everyone has been telling me, dont expect to get amazing numbers off the track with a new setup. I need to take the car to a dyno to really see the difference. I can tell you this. the 3.4 is a completely different motor with the aluminum heads. changes a lot. and while you are rebuilding its a good time to do something like that, as the pistons have to be changed as well (and since you will have the engine apart).
When i get a dyno (hopefully soon) ill post numbers, for now all i can say is that my times went from a 16.509 @ 84.75 mph w/2.55 60' to 16.0 @ 83 mph w/2.5 60' (so i basically lost .5 off my time) -- i have to add (and no this isnt an excuse, its a rationalization) that i flubbed the run, and really should have done one more, accidentally shifted from 3-4 @ 3000 rpm, which caused the car to drop too low in the rpms and cost me some time and speed. so i need to get back to the track again and get a few more runs in.

The swap did require some fabrication and ingenuity however.

actually looking back on it - it wasnt that big a hassle. the biggest issue was figuring out a way to get the EGR pipe from the EGR to the intake manifold. that took us the longest time. other than that, everything was pretty straightforward. the "ingenuity" came from finding metal pieces (read brackets) in my dad's garage that i could convert into brackets and the like.
all in all..i would say the whole thing didnt take that long, and really woke the car up. i mean, porting and polishing heads will do that to a engine, especially the 3.4, and yes, the heads i have are almost spot on for the airflow that tiago's NRT ported heads generate. and mine are STOCK as from the factory. i could still port and polish them. so just remember that little bit when you decide what you wanna do. if you have any questions feel free to email me. ill see what i can do to answer them.

Oh so that's why you gave me sh!t on the 60degree v6 forum for my times. Cause mine w/ stock heads/cam ran faster than yours with the "amazing" alum. heads.---
-\'95 3.4L M5 Camaro

And I ran better times then you did with less gearing, and probable less mods.
There is no need to be talking sh|t and getting off topic.
You do know when you pioneer new, that hasn't been tried before, it takes time to tune it right, it not Ricer hp math where this + this gives you this.
Also when you change something major on your car it also takes time to get it running how you want it at the track.
