i have a 2001 v6 3.8 camaro. so far i have flowmaster exhaust system, slp cold air induction, slp whispter lid, 75 shot of nitrous, i just bought pacesetter headers and a high flow cat. i want to get more power out of my car so that i can keep up with my b/f 99 mustang gt, which he is running with a 75 shot of nitrous, ehaust off road mid pipe. so what else can i do. please give me so ideas

p&p heads and intakes. Then also a cam.
If you don't wanna bother with the engine yet, maybe get a walbro 255 fuel pump and run a 100-125 shot. With this get some tuning and you should be fine running a 125 shot.

I don't see a mention of what gearing you have. Swapping in a 3.42 diff is affordable. You can go higher than that if you realy want to.
Might be time to decide to either build up the engine N/A or cross over to FI.
The ford has a few cubes on you, and is sorta riged for speed as it is, otherwise....if he had a 6 shooter.... he'd be in the ford forums asking how to keep up with you.
If you have not researched it in depth...not counting polished/ported heads...basic cam swap = 40 or more HP. give or take...cam choice, valvetrain, tuning, etc...gang?
Bolt On supercharger...I am biased a bit...check some dyno postings on the FI furom. You will see it is a pretty strong upgrade.
Turbo...better know what you are doing. No kits available.

grayman what would be involved in a basic cam swap that you talk about? i want to upgrade my gears but when i go to lmperformance.com i get all mixed up. maybe you can help me. could you find me a website with a set of 3.73 gears. i know that i probably can't put them on myself. and about how much should gears cost?
