  • Ross Racing Pistons

I had a question about pistons. Now with Ross Racing Pistons, I didn't see anything about the whole assembly, just the piston itself.

My question is what kind of connecting rod could I use to compliment the Ross Racing Piston I choose. I am shooting for high HP, but would like to keep the stock compression ratio.

In theory, I am trying to see if a 100 shot of nitrous and a 100 (?) SC can be used with stock compression, but stronger piston assemblies.

I would suggest the GM L67 forged rod. Better than the stocker and not too expensive. I can dig up a part number if you need it.

I'm using custom Ross flat-topped pistons(stock height) with l67 shot-peened rods. And I'm planning on some pretty high horsepower levels. The forged piston are the main key, get a good piston and you're pretty much good to go. My engine will be done in about 3 more weeks, I'll post how it all worked out.

Between the L67 and the L32, which part of the assembly changes the compression ratio, the piston or the connecting rod?

www.ammperformance.com. Look in the internal engine page in the V6 section.

I got mine straight from Ross, they had to be custom made because of the bore-over, but yeah, those two ^ are right on. Supposedly there is a guy in Nebraska who does alot of L67 work who has alot of pistons on hand. I'll talk to my shop and see if I can find out who he is.
