What do the custom cams on our cars sound like?

    Wow, these little cams sure do make our little engines sound good. I put at 234/244 (that is at 0.050) in the 350 in my Impala and it sounds like that. I would love to stick that in my 'Bird. But at any rate, it isn't just the "split" cam that makes our engines sound so rough, it is mainly the large amounts of duration in the lobes. Also, tighter lobe sep angles will make it idle really rough. Just making it more clear. But great sounding cars!!!! Can't even tell it is a six.

      with the cutout fully open there isn't a hint of v6 sound but with it closed i heard it clearlywith my headphones on..

        Yes I have a cutout and that Mustang is my girls car which is an extremely sweet ride. Maybe if you were a little more open minded you would appreciate nice cars. It's not always about what you drive, which is why we invite others to join us at our f-body picnic, even if they drive a vette or a Mustang.

            Sweet car mike, your girls car is sweet as well, dont be dissin on his girls ride, i bet with mike behind her, her stang would blow your fbody away :D
