• Injectors and PCM

Hey guys, I'm getting ready to install about
3.5 - 4 lbs. of boost as well as a 75 dry shot of N2O. What size injectors will I need, and how expensive will the total cost be? I suspect that I'll need a 33 or 34 before my mods are all complete. Also I'll be adding the heads/cam on a little later and I'll need PCM recalibration. I e-mailed Ed Wright and he told me that he doesn't work with our late model PCMs, I also e-mailed Magnus and he said he would know of his capabilities next week. Any suggestions on getting my PCM reprogrammed? Thanks.

to help fight off an ses light or an overly rich mixture, get an adjustable fpr and crank up the pressure some. also, getting true 22 lb. injectors or 24 lb. injectors should be fine, I think. an s-afc would help you tune the mixture and get it just right.

You might think of different gears if you're going to have a SC. You're probably not hooking with nittos on the street as it is now.

Better pray to the gods that Magnus can come through for us. I just put in some 24lb injectors today and the car is WAY rich down low. It's so bad after a WOT run the car will just die, there is so much fuel it can't idle.
Are you planning on running any kind of FMU for the boost?

I was thinking the same thing. If that nitrous is a wet shot, with a FMU the stock injectors may be able to handle the extra fuel.

I'd have to run the math to be sure, and I'm too tired at the moment. 16 hour work days tend to make me lazy.
