  • Jet PCM? Or the new Hypertech Programer III?

First I have to say that this is a great site. I'm from Hamilton Ontario and surrounded by LS1's. Its good to know that a community like yours exists. I have a 2001 3.8 v6 Firebird. I have just added a new 3" performance cat and a Magnaflow 3" cat back exhaust system, along with a Hypertech 160o thermostat. I have also purchased, last year, a ram air raptor hood with full K&N air box assembly. I just wanted to know which computer brand would be best for my vehicle. Hypertech would go great with my thermostat, but I dont want to base it strictly on that. Does Jet PCM take this one? Or Hypertech?

The hypertech is by far a better choice if you're looking to do things such as remove the speed limiter, adjust the speedo for gearing, and correct the fans for a lower temp thermostat.
