you cant "double" port and polish, the metal that has already been taken out cant go back in, all you can do is re-sand them out...BTW, UPS wasnt the one who messed them up it was whoever packed its fault, for some reason most people dont care when they pack stuff up to ship...when i got my heads there was a letter saying the box was badly wrapped and had tore open and they had to re-pack it and if anything was missing to contact them, the heads had NOTHING in between them so they were just banging together, needless to say i was lucky and the decks didnt get any serious dings in them...

Yeah, but cant you P&P them again? Like take a little more metal off and out?

The box was packaged okay, there was a seperating sheild, its just that the damned box had been fuxed up majorly.

Sorry they were so rough on the box....

Yep, that's exactly why I put those 4 extra layers of cardboard on the bottom and 2 extra layers on the sides, just in case. And all that extra packing material around them.

I wasn't too keen on the orange either. I was going to have the heads cleaned up too, if I'd kept them. I don't think you will need any additional porting. Tom at SSM seems to know what they need removed (how much and where) to get good flow numbers.

ups dosnt really care about your package, they will throw them around like nothing, its their job to unload the truck and load the track as fast as possible. I would know I use to unload the trucks, i tried to care for computers and stuff but stuff falls, u can never use to much tape on a package or to much packing material
