well, since ur not looking at making max power, then U can run about the same compression as u do now, 9.4-9.5 and still run 8-10 lbs. just fine. to make more power, u'd wanna drop compression and run more boost.

How much better are coated pistons and how much more do they cost?

How much does a set of forged cost also?

      Thanks

the coatings can be between 200-350, not including the cost of the pistons themselves, for a set of 6 pistons for both thermal and anti-friction. forged pistons can be bought from intense racing in either 9.5:1 or 8.0:1 compression.

Other little things that I've thought of for coating w/ anti-friction is camshafts(but I don't know if it would affect lobe size noticably or not), ends of rocker arms(both the tip and where the pushrod connects), the journals of the crankshaft(where the rods rotate around), and wrist pins. These are all little things, but if ur really looking to go all out....
