just because his 3.8 is the fastest that is on the timeslips page that doesnt mean its the fastest ever it is quite impressive though, and what a car runs in the 1/4 mile has nothing to do what it dynos, gear and converter play a big role in et

Torque gives you ET, HP gives you mph. There is a guy running some kind of pro-class with an na car in the 12s’. That’s a drag car so its probably light as well.

I am gonna go ahead and guess at the 310-320hp range for normal cars. The drag car in the 12s’ would have to be 400-450 but there is no telling what hes done to it.

If there are faster cars out there when we need to seek them out and put them on the timeslips page. As far as I'm concerned, if your car is fast but you dont put it on the timeslips page then it doesn't really matter. We have the largest V6 f-body timeslips page ever! If someone runs records, they better submit their times!

My car is quick but no dyno queen. The big NA dyno cars I can think of was tyrunt rolle, mike huff, and perhaps zach davis in the future.

It's no coincidence that they are all M5 cars too.

My best N/A dyno was 220/234. That was with a cam only, no valve train or head work. I'm sure someone will put out a better # soon with a full SSM package. Of course my car will never go back to N/A so I can only give you blower dyno numbers now.

At 297 HP NA the car is pretty much un-streetable as this car uses 104 Octane gasoline.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking that a complete built motor with forged 10.1-10.5.1 pistons and heavily ported and polished heads, intake, and mass airflow/throttle body housing and everything else(cam, roller rockers, cai, cat-back, and headers) should be close to the 300hp mark. This is my longterm plan and with an m5 it will be a little easier.

Because ANYONE can run 13s with a 300+ hp 5.7 v8. It is quite a bit more impressive running those numbers in a v6 n/a. I love it mainly for the jaw dropping looks when i beat the v8 and say its an all motor 3.8

SlimJim1284 I have thought about that and I haven't decided for sure yet but if I keep my car then that is what I will do. I like the idea of getting 30mpg on the highway, cheaper insurance, and yes having something different at the same time. This is not to say that I am for sure going to keep the six banger but if I do, this is my argument for doing so.
