I just got the May 2003 issue of GM High Tech Performance and immediately was drawn to the article which tested SLP's new rocker arms for the 3800. Needless to say i almost crapped my pants, but are these things difficult to install? or should i have a pro do it for me? (i havent bought them yet, btw... but plan on it soon due to the 11 hp they dynoed on a 96 3.8...) thanks!

I seen that article also, When I seen that a 97' camaro 3.8 M5 only had 189 hp or what ever before the install and the guy had headers and intake I almost died! WTF? Anyways, after the install it should a hp gain of 9 rwhp. Thats pretty good but not for the price! 549.99 for some focking 1.8 ration rocker arms. I would get a pro.

Actualy thats pretty good for just headers and intake on a v6. I mean we only have between 160-170 hp stock at the wheels so a 19-29 rwhp from just headers and intake is excellent.Longtubes, true duals, ram air, caspers tps tec, ls1 26lb injectors, supersix powerpack, heads milled .020, comp cam .507 220/224 114 ls, forged internals and chromeoly pushrods, bored .030 over, tb spacer, tranny built with stiffer springs and kevlar bands, bigger servo, transgo stage 3 shift kit, edge 3600 stall, 1 pc aluminum ds, 3.73 superior gears, lsd rear ,custom pcm tuning, walbro 255 in tank,
