I just want to know has anyone bought the stage 1 power pak for the 96 and up 3.8 V6 from supersixmotorsports.com. If so did it help and how do you like it.

I have been trying to investigate to and everybody I know do not want to install because of the price range. I am interested to because they offer so much hp. Anway if anybody out there has one gives us the info [img]graemlins/banana.gif[/img]
well, i know its 200hp at the wheels, 240 with PCM tuning. You can get that with a cam alone and some other small upgrades, so there ARE other options, but from what ive heard, people that have the heads and cam and ported U and L intakes like it.....
You can't get 240 at the wheels with just a cam....can't get near that as a matter of fact
You'd have to throw a lot of other crap on it to get that....A LOT
If the head and cam package from supersix works well then its a really cool package...but I don't know too much about it
200 rwhp from a reground cam, P&P'd intakes and heads. Stock tuning can't compensate well for the increased airflow, so it's restricting power a lot, but I doubt that it's being restricted 40 rwhp. I could see getting 240 rwhp with tuning AND a custom cam, NOT a regrind. It is a worthwhile modification to get, just make sure to get it with a custom cam.
