  • Head Install = PROBLEMS???

I installed my SUPERSIX heads. I started last night at 8pm and worked all through out the night untill this morning around 9am. I was very excited that I had finally completed the job. I also ported and polished upper and lower intakes.

After everything is hooked up I turn the key, not start but on accessory, I hear this hissing sound. This happend to me once before and it was my streighter valve that the nitrous hooks into was loose. So I look around under the hood and smell gas. So I was like yep im sure thats it. I tightend the fuel line on the streighter valve. Gave her a full key turn to try to start and it just wouldnt kick over. I then smelt gas really bad. Looked under my car and see a big pile of fuel on the ground. There is also lots of fuel on my lower intake manifold. Looks like it may be coming from the injectors or fuel rail somewhere.

HOW DO I FIX THIS? ANY TIPS? I NEED HELP ASAP

the fuel is coming from between the fuel rail and injector????

Did you pull your injectors from the rail itself?

Push the injector as far up inside the rail as possible and make sure the clip is on there good.. you might have to replace the o-ring though.

I suggest new o rings, and put vaseline on them, helps the seal. I had the same problem...vaseline solved it lol

why do you suggest new o rings?

              How much are they?

I am going to the dealer today so maybe I will pick some up. Just tell me why so im not wasting my time.

O-Rings are cheap and if they are the original ones they have most likely hardened some. It's always best to go ahead an replace them.
