Hey just wondering if anyone has done or researched a 4.3 vortech swap? since they use a 4l60e, i would think it would work. With more cubes, should be able to squeeze a little more topend outta it. Anyone doneit?

I have a 96 3800 with intake and exhause in my S10 and hit a 14.9. I have yet to see any 4.3 S10 beat a 15.7 NA with a stock engine.
You would need the s10 tranny or a v8 tranny because the 4.3 has a different bell-housing than the 3800. A 4.3 can be build cheap since it is a 350 minus 2 cylinders.92 S10 3800 A4(96)<br />1/4: 14.374 @ 92.25 w/ 1.976 60\'<br />Turbo and 12\'s Coming Soon!
